The Life Direction Programme - Finding your Personal Mission
The personal mission course is a 6 week programme designed to help you to understand what is truly important to you in life and commit to a life direction which will motivate and inspire you to be happy and fulfilled.
The programme consists of the following modules:
Week 1 - Mission and Values
Understand the importance of having your own personal mission and start on the track to finding your mission by clarifying your Key Values - those values which are most important for you in life for your happiness and success. It is only by understanding what is important to us in life, what we truly value, that we can start to guide our lives in a direction which will make us fulfilled. In week 1 you will also learn what values are and why it is important that we understand our own values. You will be guided through the process of finding out what is truly important to you to live a fulfilled life.
Week 2 - Your Life Direction
Your life direction is the way you express your values in the world. Perhaps your direction will be to be surgeon, scientist or great mother. Your life direction gives you a clear focus to life to ensure you have a clear personal direction.
Week 3 - Personal principles
Personal principles are a set of rules, attitudes and behaviors that you will use guide what you do and how you do it to make your life happy and successful. They act as a reminder of what you stand for, the approach to life you wish to take and the values which you aim to live your life by.
Personal principles ensure you develop a strong personal identity and live in a way which is right for you.
Week 4 - The heart of your mission
In week 4 the first 3 week's work will be pulled together into a mission statement. Formally writing this down and committing to it seals your direction in stone and gives your live real purpose.
Week 5 - Mission based living
There is no point having a mission statement if you do not use it. You must live it, day in, day out, and organize their life towards it. In week 5 you will be shown how to make your mission part of your life. You will also be introduced to the Management Of Life Decision Making Model, a new model of decision making designed to help you make strong and consistent mission based decisions.
Week 6 - From Mission to Action
Mission statements can at times be very broad and overarching. To get more focus you need to create mission focused goals to direct your life in the short term. This week you will learn how to set goals linked to your mission and the way to set these to create real focus in your life.
